Brand and Communication Systems

This page brings together projects focused on turning scattered communication, early-stage ideas, and fast-moving teams into systems that scale with clarity. My role in these projects went beyond creating visuals. I built structured approaches to how information moves, how brands stay consistent, and how teams execute efficiently across multiple channels. The work explores how design operates not just as output, but as a system—connecting strategy, messaging, and execution to drive visibility, engagement, and growth.

Communications Vice President, Graduate Student Association

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) serves Drexel's graduate community through events, student organization support, and university-wide collaboration. Communication across Instagram, email, DragonLink, LinkedIn, and Linktree needed more consistency and structure, so I led a system-driven approach to visibility, engagement, and brand execution.

My role covered communications strategy, digital and print design, email and event promotion, and team workflow guidance. The work moved GSA from reactive posting toward planned, reusable communication that could scale across channels and team members.

We defined the role of each platform so messages could move with clearer intent: Instagram for awareness, email for announcements, LinkedIn for institutional visibility, and DragonLink as the event hub.

Rather than redefining the brand, we made Drexel's existing guidelines easier to execute across everyday communications by standardizing typography, layout, color usage, and hierarchy. This improved clarity across event posts and flyers, reduced variation in visual quality, and created a more unified experience across social, email, and event channels.

Consistent GSA brand execution across communication materials.

We created reusable templates for recurring communications like announcements, opportunities, and community events, allowing the team to move faster while maintaining quality.

Reusable event templates adapted across GSA campaigns.

I directed communications for event promotions, newsletter campaigns, and announcements while introducing clearer processes for content planning, feedback, approvals, and posting consistency.

Impact included Instagram growth from 1,400 to 2,034+ followers, 50,000+ views in the past 30 days, and a shift from scattered communications to a planned system. The main lesson was that consistency builds trust, and systems scale better than individual effort.

Building Gamezone

Gamezone started as an idea: making board and card games more accessible for friends, families, and couples through curated experiences and easy purchasing. With no existing brand, platform, or audience, I led the end-to-end creation of the brand, digital presence, customer experience, and growth strategy.

The challenge was building visibility and conversion at the same time. My role included brand creation and visual identity, social strategy and content design, website and e-commerce setup, and direct customer interaction and feedback.

I created a cohesive visual identity that felt fun, accessible, and engaging while staying consistent across social media, flyers, promotional graphics, and official documents.

I established Gamezone across Instagram, TikTok, and X, using each platform intentionally to grow awareness and connect with different audience segments.

Gamezone digital presence across multiple platforms.

I translated the brand into a functional digital product where customers could browse games, understand offerings, and make purchases or inquiries.

I designed content that showcased available games, highlighted use cases for friends, couples, and events, and encouraged interaction. I also ran early Instagram ads and directly handled inquiries, orders, and feedback.

Content, growth, and customer interaction.

Gamezone grew from zero into an active brand system with a digital presence, e-commerce experience, content engine, and real customer interaction. The work reinforced that design drives business when it connects visibility, engagement, and conversion.
